Something we are finding increasingly more common is that customers that have Norton or McAfee’s security product subscriptions are most likely getting spammed by them to install more products (and pay more money) than they actually need.
If you started out with just the anti-virus product there is a chance you have now accidentally installed a system clean-up tool, anti-trackers, VPN, and possibly more and might be paying for them yearly.
NONE of these are necessary or worth the money you are paying for them, they will only potentially cause problems and most likely slow your computer down as well.
What you should do is uninstall them (leave the anti-virus product installed) and check your subscription to ensure that they will not be auto-renewed at the end of the subscription period.
