The free Windows 11 upgrade is still rolling out to eligible Windows 10 PC’s, it will probably appear in the Windows Updates section on your PC. Some older PC’s will not qualify to be upgraded due to hardware requirements for Windows 11.
Windows 10 support will cease in October 2025 so you still have plenty of time before you need to upgrade to Windows 11.
So in short, unless you are sick of the sight of Windows 10 and want a change you don’t need to upgrade and can turn off the offer for good in the settings.
If you are desperate to upgrade to Windows 11 and are comfortable with doing it yourself we recommend doing the following prior to the upgrade:
Backup all your important data, photo’s, email etc. to another device. Remove the Anti-Virus software (only if you know how to reinstall it from a login and/or you have the activation code(s) to reactivate the product upon re-installation. Reinstall the Anti-Virus software following the upgrade.
