It’s been a busy few months leading up to the End of Life date for Windows 10 but just a reminder that if you haven’t taken any action with your Windows 10 PC then you may start becoming increasingly vulnerable to the many nasties lurking in the internet.

Talk to us today about your options. As per our last advisory there are ways to increase the life of Windows 10 for another 12 months, you just need to proceed with caution.

One consistent thing we have noticed with Windows 11 installations is that Microsoft is determined to send you to the cloud(OneDrive).

Now, this may not be a problem for most users, but what we have found is that anyone that sets up a new Windows 11 PC will most likely  have a connection to OneDrive and may be, without realising it, saving their documents and photos to OneDrive.

For people without a Microsoft Office subscription this may lead to storage space issues in OneDrive and Microsoft asking you for money to increase your OneDrive storage. It’s definitely not necessary to give Microsoft extra money and there are ways to get away from OneDrive and save files only to the local PC, ask us how.
